Prompt: A prompt is a specific question or statement that directs students' thinking and guides their response.
Primary Source: A primary source is an original document or artifact created during the time period being studied. It provides firsthand information about a topic.
Secondary Source: A secondary source is a document or account created after an event has occurred. It interprets or analyzes primary sources and provides commentary on a topic.
