Definition
These are mental health disorders characterized by significant disturbances in mood or emotional state such as depression or bipolar disorder.

Depression: A condition characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and loss of interest that disrupt daily functioning.
Bipolar Disorder: A disorder associated with episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs.
Mania: An overly joyful or overexcited state seen in bipolar disorder.
