The period (T) of a pendulum swinging back and forth is equal to 2π times the square root of the length (l) divided by the acceleration due to gravity (g).
Pendulum: A weight suspended from a fixed point that can freely swing back and forth under gravity's influence.
Periodic Motion: Any motion that repeats itself at regular intervals.
Acceleration due to Gravity (g): The acceleration experienced by objects near Earth's surface due to gravitational attraction. Its value is approximately 9.8 m/s².
