Ferromagnetic materials are substances that can be strongly magnetized due to their ability to align their atomic moments in parallel with an external magnetic field.
Paramagnetic: Materials that weakly respond to an applied magnetic field and do not retain any significant magnetization after removing the external field.
Diamagnetic: Materials that have no permanent atomic dipole moments and are slightly repelled by an applied magnetic field.
Curie Temperature: The temperature at which ferromagnetic materials lose their permanent magnetism due to thermal agitation.
