EMF is the potential difference or voltage produced by a source such as a battery or generator. It represents the energy per unit charge that is converted from other forms of energy into electrical energy.
Volt (V): Volt is the unit of measurement for electromotive force. It represents one joule of energy per coulomb of charge.
Generator: A generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy by using electromagnetic induction.
Battery: A battery is a portable source of electrical energy that consists of one or more electrochemical cells connected together.
