Racial disparities refer to unequal treatment or outcomes based on race, where certain racial groups experience disadvantages compared to others in areas such as education, employment, criminal justice system, etc.
Systemic Racism: Patterns of discrimination or unequal treatment embedded within social institutions and systems.
Affirmative Action: Policies aimed at increasing representation of historically disadvantaged groups in areas such as education and employment.
Implicit Bias: Unconscious attitudes or stereotypes that affect our judgments and actions towards individuals based on their race.
