Definition

The narrative method refers to the way in which a story is told or presented, including the structure, point of view, and literary techniques used by the author.

Related terms

Point of View: The perspective from which a story is told, such as first-person (narrator is a character in the story) or third-person (narrator is outside of the story).

Plot Structure: The organization and sequence of events in a story, including exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.

Literary Techniques: Various tools and strategies employed by authors to enhance their writing, such as foreshadowing, symbolism, imagery, and irony.
