Modes of persuasion are the three main methods used to convince an audience in persuasive writing or speaking. They include ethos, pathos, and logos.
Ethos: Ethos refers to the credibility or trustworthiness of the speaker or writer. It involves using personal expertise, credentials, or reputation to persuade the audience.
Pathos: Pathos appeals to the emotions and feelings of the audience. It aims to evoke sympathy, empathy, or other emotional responses in order to persuade.
Logos: Logos relies on logical reasoning and evidence to support an argument. It includes facts, statistics, expert opinions, and logical reasoning that appeal to the audience's sense of reason and logic.
