Shigen refers to natural resources that are valuable and useful for human activities.
Ten-nen shigen (天然資源): This term refers specifically to natural resources that come from the earth, such as minerals, oil, and gas.
Mamoru (守る): To protect or preserve. It is important to mamoru our shigen so that future generations can also benefit from them.
Kankyō mondai (環境問題): Environmental issues. The management and sustainable use of shigen is closely related to kankyō mondai.
