Autonomy: Autonomy is the capacity for a region or group to govern itself independently. It’s about having self-rule.

Decolonization: Decolonization is the action or process of a state withdrawing from a former colony, leaving it independent. This often involves dismantling colonial structures and creating new systems that reflect the culture and needs of the indigenous population.
