Nationalist ideologies are political principles based on promoting national identity above all else. They often emphasize shared characteristics such as language or common descent.
Patriotism: A feeling of love for one’s country and willingness to sacrifice for it.
Xenophobia: An irrational fear or hatred towards people from other countries which can be fueled by extreme nationalist ideologies.
Sovereignty: The authority of a state to govern itself without any interference from outside sources or bodies.
