More Developed Countries (MDCs), also known as developed countries or industrialized countries, are countries with a high level of development according to some criteria. These criteria often include economic (income per capita, industrialization) and social standards (education, healthcare).
Less Developed Countries (LDCs): These are countries that, according to the United Nations, exhibit the lowest indicators of socioeconomic development.
Newly Industrialized Countries (NICs): These are countries whose economies have not yet reached a developed status but have outpaced other developing nations.
Human Development Index (HDI): This is a statistic composite index of life expectancy, education, and per capita income indicators used to rank countries into tiers of human development.
