Health risks refer to factors that increase the likelihood of developing health problems such as diseases or injuries. They can be environmental (like pollution), behavioral (like smoking), genetic, or related to access to healthcare services.
Epidemiology: The study of how often diseases occur in different groups of people and why.
Public Health: The science dealing with the protection and improvement of community health by organized community effort.
Risk Factors: Characteristics at the biological, psychological, family, community, or cultural level that precede and are associated with a higher likelihood of negative outcomes.
