Early industrialization refers to the period when societies began transitioning from agrarian economies to ones dominated by industry and machine manufacturing. This period started in Britain in the late 18th century during what's known as the Industrial Revolution.
Industrial Revolution: The transition from manual labor and handmade goods to mechanized production methods that began in Britain around 1760.
Urbanization: The process whereby populations move from rural areas into cities, often spurred by industrialization.
Factory System: A method of manufacturing using machinery and division of labor first adopted in Britain during the Industrial Revolution.
