The term LGBTQIA+ is an acronym that stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual. It is used to represent a diverse community of individuals who identify with different sexual orientations and gender identities.
Homophobia: Prejudice or discrimination against individuals who identify as homosexual.
Gender Identity: One's deeply held sense of their own gender, which may or may not align with the sex assigned at birth.
Pride Parade: An event where members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies come together to celebrate diversity and advocate for equal rights.
