This refers to the establishment and evolution of new forms of government, political systems, or structures during a particular period in history.
Constitutional Monarchy: A form of government where a king or queen acts as the head of state within the parameters set by a constitution.
Parliamentary System: A democratic form of government where the party with the greatest representation in parliament (legislature) forms the government, its leader becoming prime minister or chancellor.
Absolutism: A political doctrine asserting that in a monarchy, the monarch holds absolute power over his/her kingdom without any constitutional limitations.
