Great Exhibition: This was an international exhibition that took place in Hyde Park, London, from 1 May to 15 October 1851. It was meant to showcase products from around the world, with an emphasis on Britain's own industrial achievements.
Industrial Revolution: A period from about 1760 to sometime between 1820 and 1840 during which major changes occurred in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, transport, and technology that had profound effects on socioeconomic conditions globally.
Sir Joseph Paxton: He was an English gardener, architect and Member of Parliament who is best known for designing The Crystal Palace.
