Double Seventh Festival, also known as Qixi Festival or Chinese Valentine's Day, is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. It commemorates the annual meeting between two legendary lovers, Zhinü (the Weaving Maid) and Niulang (the Cowherd), who are only allowed to meet once a year across a bridge formed by magpies.
Magpie Bridge: The imaginary bridge formed by magpies that allows Zhinü and Niulang to meet on Double Seventh Festival.
Love Locks: Padlocks engraved with couples' names that are attached to bridges or fences as symbols of everlasting love.
Romantic Gestures: Acts or expressions of love and affection exchanged between couples during Double Seventh Festival.
