PLIGHT is an acronym used to remember factors affecting gas behavior - Pressure, Volume (Liter), moles (n), Gas constant (R), Temperature.
Boyle’s Law: It states that pressure and volume are inversely proportional when temperature is held constant; it's like saying if your house (volume) gets smaller but you still invite lots of guests (pressure), things get cramped!
Charles’ Law: It says volume and temperature are directly proportional at constant pressure; think about if your party heats up (temperature rises), people might spread out more taking up more space(volume increases).
Ideal Gas Law: This law combines several gas laws into one equation PV=nRT; it's like a guidebook for planning your perfect party!
