tRNAs are small molecules that carry amino acids to the ribosome for incorporation into a polypeptide during translation.
Anticodon: This can be thought of as GPS coordinates on our delivery truck. Anticodons are sequences of three nucleotides in tRNA that pair with corresponding codons on mRNA.
Translation: This process can be compared with constructing a building from blueprints. Translation is when ribosomes synthesize proteins using information encoded in mRNA.
Amino Acid Activation: Like loading up bricks onto our delivery truck, this is the process where each tRNA molecule is linked to its correct amino acid.
