This refers to how the information in a gene is used to influence the physical attributes (phenotype) of an organism.
Genotype: The genetic makeup of an organism that determines its characteristics.
Allele: One of two or more versions of a gene that are found at the same place on a chromosome and are responsible for variations in inherited characteristics.
Dominant Trait: A trait that will appear in offspring if one parent contributes it.
