Toxic masculinity refers to harmful behaviors and attitudes associated with traditional societal expectations placed upon men. These expectations often promote aggression, dominance, emotional suppression, and devaluation of femininity, which can have negative impacts on both men and women.
Gender Roles: Socially constructed expectations about how individuals should behave based on their assigned sex.
Patriarchy: A social system in which men hold primary power and dominance over women in roles of leadership, authority, and privilege.
Feminism: The belief in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes, advocating for the dismantling of gender-based inequalities.
